In 1966 the AVSPA opened its pool to members. Named after General Bouquet who traveled up and down the Valley with his men from Fort Pitt – during his victory over Native Americans at the battle of Bushy Run in 1763.
Located on 3.5 acres and surrounded by wonderful grounds, a bathhouse, concession stand and pavilion, Bouquet Park has the feel of an actual park. Picnic tables, shaded trees, volleyball net, as well as large spaces to spread out with your friends and family on those hot summer days.
We have two separate pools – a swimming lap pool that includes a diving end and a baby wading pool. Adult swims are conducted regularly throughout the day for anyone over the age of 18. The kids and teenagers can enjoy a variety of snacks from our concession stand.
CONCESSION STAND Items include: Soda, Pizza, Nachos, Ice Cream, bottled water, candy . . . . Just to list a few things. We offer private and community parties.
